Coming Up: Downtown Brews and Bites

Downtown Brews and Bites

Cold craft beer, delicious food pairings, live music and more are coming up during Downtown Brews and Bites on Saturday, September 9th, from 5 to 7 p.m.

About Downtown Brews and Bites

Downtown Brews and Bites is a Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival spin-off event. It’s brought to you by the Downtown Hattiesburg Association with assistance from VisitHattiesburg, FestivalSouth, the Forrest County Board of Supervisors, and many other local businesses.

There will be plenty of local food trucks on site, offering scrumptious specialty dishes that pair perfectly with specific craft beer offerings. So, get ready to sip, eat and mingle while listening to live music by Galen Martin and The Crutches!

Purchase your tickets online ahead of time to make sure you don’t miss this popular, packed-out event. In fact, there are two types of tickets to choose from. First, there’s the “Brews & Bites Pairing Ticket.” However, you must be at least 21 years old to purchase this ticket and have a valid photo ID.

The other option is the “Bites Only Ticket.” There are a limited number of these tickets available for those who want to attend and sample the food without the beer pairings.

Other important notes

Before you make your plans for this rain or shine event, there are a few other important reminders. First, all guests ages 15 and older must have a ticket to enter. Groups will need to arrive together to check in at the same time. Wristbands will not be held for anyone who isn’t present.

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to set up on the open green spaces to enjoy the festivities. Last but not least, don’t forget your wallet! There will be additional food and beverages available for purchase during the event.

Location

Downtown Brews and Bites will be held at Walthall Park, which is located at 600 Walnut St. That’s about nine miles from The Belmont Apartment Homes. Be sure to factor in about a 20-minute drive when you are planning your evening!
